| Celebrate Your Outdoor Wedding at Rosewood Gardens Where The Beauty of Nature Surrounds You |
Many couples think about Outdoor Weddings, as they dream of having a ceremony surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, the beauty of flowers; woodland and distant mountains. At Rosewood Gardens, we strive to make that dream a reality, as we offer you the opportunity to hold your wedding in the lush and intimate setting of our English style gardens. Your wedding at the Gardens, will feel as if you are in the luxury of your own private estate, as a generous amount of time is always reserved exclusively for you for the duration of your event. After your ceremony, our photographer will walk you through our unique botanical Garden. She will capture memorable images set against so many beautiful backdrops, including the formal low clipped hedges of the "Shakespeare Garden", or the peach and lavender blue flowers in the "Memorial Garden in Memory of Diana, Princess of Wales". During the months of April thru October, no other facility in this area can compare for beauty and bloom. Unlike most outdoor weddings facilities, we do have a comfortable indoor bridal changing area. Click on the "Facilities" section for further details of what is available at our venue. We offer options to include ceremony only packages; ceremony plus onsite reception packages, (including packages for tent receptions); offsite reception choices, and venue rental only arrangements. We will be happy to customize any package to suit requirements and budget. Many wedding facilities in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and other areas in the Smokies, offer "garden settings" but nowhere else, other than here at Rosewood, will you find the lushness and exuberance that is truly evocative of an English Garden. Most of our garden beds and borders are informal in style, one or two areas are more traditional and formal in design, while others have the "mix and mingle" associated with true English style cottage gardens. Areas such as the entrance to the Hummingbird Garden (photo right) offer a natural woodland setting. beautiful wine shades, from white to deepest burgundy, the "Wine & Roses Garden" evokes the very idea of romance. The white wedding arbor, clad in clematis, roses and other flowering vines, is a perfect place for your minister to hold the ceremony. This garden can accommodate seating for up to 100 guests. |
|
It seldom happens, but if adverse weather conditions lead to soggy wet grounds, then as an alternative to the Wine & Roses Garden, we will set out chairs and hold the ceremony in the higher and drier areas of the Garden, which are by the Mixed Border, and Heather Garden. Wherever possible, after the ceremony, our photographer will take bride & groom photos in the usual and popular areas of the garden (including the arbor). Should constant heavy rain prove to be a problem, then we will move the ceremony to a beautiful chapel located close by the Gardens. This chapel serves as our "rain back up" and has seating for up to 200 people. This is a last resort option and is only elected should the day prove to be a complete wash out. In that event, our coordinators will be ready, and will take charge of arranging the transfer. |

| After several days of rain preceded this wedding, we set out the white chairs for guest seating in the drier area of the Garden and the ceremony was held by the Mixed Border. The crepe myrtles in bloom, and the pretty wedding colors, all added to the overall picture. Our bride & groom, Lisa and Matt, were still able to have their photos in other popular areas of the garden, including the Wine & Roses Garden. Their catered tent reception with dance floor and DJ. went ahead as planned and guests joined in the dancing and fun. Tent receptions are always held in this area of the Garden. |

| Our minister, Rev Cunha, aways delivers a wonderful, personalized wedding service. This pretty wedding in mid September included a Rose Ceremony. Late summer is always lush and colorful in the Garden. |

THE "WEDDING CAT"
has known all the activity that exists when a wedding takes place at the Gardens. She loves the fuss that is given to her by the wedding guests, and at times she has made her way down into the garden to watch as the bride & groom take their vows. (See photo left!) She is a little older now, and the weddings aren't quite as appealing to her as they once were, but you will still find Tabby either walking around the garden, or on our lower deck area, socializing with just about anyone who wants to be her friend. |
We couldn't resist adding this delightful photograph to our website. It was sent to us by Stellar Wedding Services, who provided the coordinator and photography services for this lovely "couple only" wedding in May. |

Animal lovers, Amanda & Kevin, had already met Tabby when they originally came here to book their ceremony & reception. On the day of their wedding, they especially requested for Tabby to be a part of it - and of course, Tabby lovingly obliged! |

| Photo left: For small weddings of 30 people or less, we offer a choice of packages which can include a reception on our lower deck area overlooking the Gardens. Photo right: For larger weddings of up to 70 people we offer the choice of two Garden Party Packages both of which include a tent reception. Tent receptions are held in the area overlooking our Mixed Border. Please refer to other sections of our site for more information and photos plus pricing and packages. We also offer packages that include offsite reception venues at either the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Pigeon Forge; the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, or the Civic Center in Sevierville.. |
Every wedding package includes a photo session with our photographer. Part of that session involves bride and groom photos around all the different themed gardens. Your photographs will encompass the pretty backdrops, and gorgeous settings here at Rosewood, and our photographer will ensure that she incorporates the best seasonal color and bloom that exists on the day of your wedding.. |
| TESTIMONIALS: Since we began holding weddings in the Gardens in 2007, we have been fortunate to receive many thank you notes and emails from couples who were married here, and we are truly appreciative of those. For anyone who is interested in booking our facility for their wedding, we have included just a few of our more recent testimonials received in 2011. They are all genuine! Serena & Mark (photo to the right) Below are a few of the many great comments our staff photographer and planner, Kerry, receives: We are gratified to find that so many couples want to purchase a CD after seeing all their photos: "The pictures were wonderful! We got the CD in the mail. We are so happy with how they turned out, but with a setting like that I don't see how they could have been bad. Thanks so much for everything. It was a perfect day." Jill & Jason "The wedding pictures are beautiful. You did an amazing job. I have the package info for you, but we are interested in purchasing the CD. Again, thank you guys so much for your beautiful gardens and staff." Amy & Justin " Well we've looked through the pictures, and looked through the pictures, and um...looked through the pictures! We like so many it is going to be hard to choose which ones we really want." Josie & Jeff "Thank you so very much for getting the pictures to us so quickly. We are very pleased. You did an amazing job with the photography. We will be picking our prints and letting you know. I wanted to ask you how much the CD would cost if we decided to purchase it as well. Again, thank you for everything." Tiffany & Brian We have included this extract from the blogsite of Knoxville Photographer Tim Joseph. This is a testimonial from a different prospective - an independent photographer, who has photographed many weddings at various locations. Tim was the photographer for a wedding that took place here in June 2010: "I am often asked by people where they should have their wedding. Looking at the world thru a camera lens, I often think of areas that have a lot of opportunities for great photography. I would like to share my favorite spot with you! The Rosewood Gardens. Located just outside Pigeon Forge, this is the prettiest spot I can think of to tie the knot. I had the privilege of shooting a wedding about two months ago on these fantastic grounds. Driving there, I had no idea where I was going to end up. All I knew was that this location had some great spot to take photos. At least that is what the Bride told me Once I arrived, I was blown away.............
