Our English style garden in the beautiful Smoky Mountains region of East Tennessee constantly changes - that is what makes it so special and exciting.
The bulbs and flowering shrubs of early spring, give way to the roses, perennials, and annuals and  the bloom continues throughout summer into early fall.
As a season unto its own, fall brings berries, grasses and colorful foliage, plus other late blooming plants.  Cooler conditions often bring on a late flush of
bloom to the roses.  Even winter at Rosewood isn't without its interest with the colorful conifers and flowering heaths.
We realize that many couples are interested in what will be in bloom here at the time of their wedding.  If an outdoor wedding in a garden is preferred, brides
may even want to plan their
special day around the particular look they want in terms of anticipated bloom and interest.  To assist you, we have compiled a
gallery of photographs taken in different areas of the garden throughout the year.  We have also included a brief seasonal summary of plants, together with
highlights of particular interest. Because May is such a diverse month in terms of bloom, we have split the photo gallery section into two parts - early to mid
May and mid to late May.  This gallery of photos and text should also be of interest to our tour groups and garden visitors.
