17 acres with exclusive use of all the cultivated areas for the duration of the wedding.

party photos (see photo opposite). Also serves as a possible ceremony area for a
couple only wedding.

opposite is light enough to be moved around and our photographer will site it

100 white wedding chairs are available.  Chairs are made of oak and have a
comfortable vinyl padded seat.   Ceremony area easily accommodates 100 chairs.

Please note that in the event of rain, we have use of a beautiful chapel located very close
to the Gardens for a back up.  Transfer is easily arranged.
                                         FEATURES OF THE GARDEN


SMALL RECEPTIONS ONLY ( TABLE/SEATING FOR NO MORE THAN 30 PEOPLE):

Our indoor air conditioned area with full kitchen facilities is suitable for buffet style layout, or for simple cake/punch & nut style receptions.  
(Indoor buffet area is for catering/standing space only - no seating).   Two 8ft banquet tables, plus 4 ft cake/punch table are available for
food/drinks. No hard liquor.  Couples are permitted to bring a few bottles of wine or champagne for the toast as long as they agree to serve
it themselves (we are not licensed to serve wine etc).  Arrangements for glassware will need to be discussed and agreed with event
planner beforehand  (please no excessive amounts of bottles - there isn't the room).   No smoking.   Up to 5 round tables are available for
guest seating on the lower deck area.  For pricing and packages click on this link
Pricing/Packages

















Tables and chairs are located on our adjoining lower outdoor deck area overlooking the gardens with seating for up to 30 people. This
area can be decorated to suit, and photo left shows the pretty way one couple chose to personalize the tables with their own choice of
centerpieces and table mats.  All decorations must be removed prior to leaving the premises.  The center photo shows the attractive indoor
buffet layout by our caterer.  We will set up the cake table and provide cake stand, cake cutters etc.  For weddings of 25 people or under
there will be room to set up a table for cake cutting outdoors on the deck area if preferred.  If you require a slightly more formal look, then
for an additional charge of $2 each plus tax, white chairs can be set up on the deck area, instead of the buff vinyl ones (see photo right).  

On site parking is available for approx 30 average sized vehicles.  If more than 30 vehicles are anticipated, then car pooling or busing
arrangements to the garden, will have to be made ( see also Guidelines Section.)

There are two parking areas, both located to right of driveway as you enter:  
1) Lower graveled car park.
2) Grassy area to the
right of driveway, which is more suitable for guests who have difficulty in walking.  A golf cart is available for
handicapped and must be reserved ahead of time.  Our staff will operate the golf cart, and this service is free of charge with all of our own
wedding packages and venue rental only arrangements.  A $25 fee will apply to wedding related businesses who rent the gardens, and
wish to have use of the golf cart (our staff will operate).

Do not park or drive on the area of lawn that is marked off with our decorative white stanchions and chain (left of driveway as you enter).
We ask guests to respect this and take care.  

If the bride intends to use the changing room facility, which is located on the lower deck, she may drive right up the driveway and park
alongside that area if she wishes.

Getting ready is an important part of any bride's day.  Our
indoor, air conditioned facility is ideal for slipping on the
wedding dress and touching up hair and makeup.   Decorated
in Victorian florals, the room has a comfortable seating area;
walk in closet; three full length mirrors, and a personal restroom
with vanity.

For bride and bridesmaids
use only, and possibly
the "Moms".
 
Located at far end of bottom deck area.
For any guest who is disabled or has difficulty in walking, there is a concrete ramp that leads on to the bottom deck area, and another
small ramp that leads to the indoor area.  
                                                         COLD DRINKS ARE AVAILABLE
                                                    RECEPTIONS
Cold drinks are available in the refrigerator located in the reception area on the lower deck.   Guests are also permitted to bring their own.
                                         Our photographer makes full use of the benches around the Gardens for her photos.  A small stone bench in the Shakespeare Garden
                                         surrounded by flowers & foliage, offers wonderful photo ops, as this romantic moment shows.

LARGER WEDDINGS UP TO 75 GUESTS

For onsite tent style receptions we have our  "Garden Party" packages.  We reserve a full day exclusively  for your wedding, which does
take into account the amount of time for set up and take down.   Because of the potential for damage to the gardens, we limit use of tents
