CEREMONY AND PHOTOGRAPHS
4 - 5 acres of landscaped flower beds and borders set in 17
beautiful acres with exclusive use of all the cultivated areas for the
duration of your ceremony and photographs.
Large white arbor in Wine & Roses Garden
Shady arbor with adjoining steps in Butterfly Garden. (This would
be suitable for a couple only wedding or a very small wedding.)
Benches throughout the property, set out in mostly shade areas,
for guests to sit and relax before or after the ceremony.
Many great photo opportunity spots, including 12 ft wide set of
steps leading into Hummingbird Garden.
Private upper deck area with view of the mountains is available for
bride and groom photographs only ( sorry no other guests allowed
in that area.)
Electricity is available in most areas of the garden, should
recorded music be required for the ceremony.
Free On Site Parking:
(1) A grassed upper area is set aside for principles of the wedding
to park, or for guests who may have difficulty in walking. It is
located to the right of driveway as you enter - Please no parking on
any of the other lawned areas of the garden.
If the bride needs to use the changing facilities, she may drive
right up the driveway and park alongside the deck area if she
wishes.
(2) A gravelled lower area is for guest parking.
Restrooms on the lower deck area.
Bride's indoor changing facility with restroom. (This is reserved for
the bride only, although attendants may of course be there to aid
the bride, if she wishes).
White wedding chair rental available. Chairs are made of oak and
have a comfortable vinyl padded seat. ($2 per chair rental, which
includes set up and take down).
Signs erected on the day to show guests where to go for ceremony
area, parking area etc.
Tents can be rented from a rental facility for use at Rosewood.
Please discuss this with your coordinator.
RECEPTIONS
(Pricing and Catering should be discussed with your
coordinator. Parties can also do their own buffet catering if
preferred)
Indoor air conditioned area with full kitchen facilities, suitable for
buffet style layout. (Catering/Standing space only - no seating).
Two 8ft banquet tables, plus 4 ft cake/punch table are available.
Linens, cutlery, plates etc are not supplied and must be supplied
by caterer.
Adjoining lower outdoor deck area overlooking gardens with
seating and tables for up to 24 people. Additional tables can
rented and set out in the garden area if required.
For larger wedding parties, a tent/s or canopy can also be rented
from a rental firm for set up in the garden. One or two 20 x 40
tents are recommended for use on our garden site overlooking the
mixed border, which is close to all facilities.
