| Budget plays a large part in planning any wedding, and we recognize the need for flexibility especially in today's tough economy. We therefore offer a wide variety of options and you can decide which is best for you: 1) Just rent our venue, and do your own arrangements. 2) All new for weddings in 2011 : We have put together a wide variety of garden wedding packages, and each one can be customized. For instance, our "Garden Simplicity" package was designed for versatility - it can remain basic, or be dressed up with a variety of "add ons". Our event planner will work with you in terms of requirements and budget. Some of the packages include receptions, and we offer both on site and off site. 3) If preferred, you are more than welcome to work through a wedding service firm/event planner of your own choice, who can arrange your wedding at the Gardens . Our Links Section will give you contact details of two local wedding service firms who have arranged many weddings at the Gardens. | Rosewood Gardens has often been described as "a photographer's dream". Wedding photographs are enhanced by the beauty of all the varied themed gardens. Commencing in 2011 we will be offering our own professional photographer. If you work through a wedding service firm, they generally provide a photographer, or you can choose your own. For more wedding photos on our website, click on this link: Photo Gallery For lasting memories, you may also want to consider a DVD of your wedding. Our event planner can include that in your wedding package. |

LADIES: This may seem trivial, but planning footwear for a Garden Wedding can make a great deal of difference as to how comfortable you will feel on the day. This applies not only to brides and bridesmaids, but to guests as well. Although stiletto heeled sandals and shoes are very fashionable at present, they may not be the most appropriate footwear for grassy or gravelled surfaces. A well chosen wedge heel, low heel or a pretty flat sandal, often proves that you don't have to sacrifice elegance to be more comfortable.

ON SITE RECEPTIONS: For small weddings of approximately 30 people or less, you can add on a reception at the Gardens. Our "Garden Memories" package includes a very simple "cake, punch, nuts & mints" style reception" with guest seating on our lower deck area. The "Morning Mist" package was designed for a morning ceremony, followed by a delicious catered brunch reception on the lower deck area. For the ultimate on site garden wedding plus reception, we plan on adding an exclusive all day package, which will be designed for the larger weddings of up to 100 people, and will include a full catered "tent style" reception. The tent will be located in the upper gardens, overlooking our lovely mixed border and heather garden. Because of the risk of damage to the Gardens, this will be the only package where we will permit use of a tent. We are still working on our "exclusive all day" package and hope to be adding that to our site shortly. Couples who are purely renting our venue, and whose wedding involves approximately 30 or less guests, do have the option of catering their own reception at our venue. We do have full kitchen facilities with banquet tables for buffet style layout in our indoor area. OFF SITE RECEPTIONS: For larger weddings, our event planner can arrange a reception in a suitable indoor facility located within an easy driving distance to the Gardens. The "English Elegance" package combines an outdoor ceremony in our English style gardens with the comfort and elegance of a fully catered reception in the newly built Springhill Suites by Marriot, located in Pigeon Forge. For larger weddings where couples feel their budget doesn't stretch to a catered reception, we can reserve a room at the Sevierville Civic Center, where you do have the option of self-catering.
Music adds so much to the romantic atmosphere of any outdoor wedding. Many different musicians have played at the gardens, and your choice of musician can be included in a wedding package. Typically a musician will play for an hour at a wedding. Recorded music can also be part of your wedding package, which can be traditional or your own choice. If you are just renting our venue you may bring your own boom box, or make other arrangements that suit you . Electricity is available at the gardens , and should it be required for your music - all that we ask is for you to request this ahead of time, we will then have it laid on for you.
RECORDED OR LIVE MUSIC

This lovely mid June wedding was captured so beautifully by photographer, Tim Joseph of T and J Photography (see contact details on Links section).
In addition to the traditional vow and ring exchange ceremony, many couples now elect to add on a Unity Sand Ceremony. This tends to be more popular for outdoor weddings than the Unity Candle (windy conditions can easily blow the candle out). Lovebird (dove) release can be another charming option, and provides a wonderful photo opportunity. Real atmosphere can be created at an outdoor wedding with the addition of music (see below). If your budget permits consider having a live musician. Bagpipes are a particular favorite of ours, and we have incorporated a piper in our "Celtic Charm" Package. Fresh petals can be scattered down the ailseway. Guests can blow bubbles for your recessional. A guest book & pen can be set up in the Garden. Our event planner can work with you on all these options. After your ceremony you may want to add on a guest toast to the bride & groom (see our "Champagne & Roses" package.)
