This room has the capacity for 200 .Photo left shows the great effect of the mirror ball. See our "Lace & Roses" Package. The Council Hall room at the Civic Center, which is an option in our Champagne & Roses package, has the capacity for 40 ( please note that we can substitute the Council Hall room for the larger room at the Auditorium, but the difference in rental cost is an additional $200). |
ON SITE RECEPTIONS: For small weddings of 30 people or less, we have packages that include a reception on our lower deck area overlooking the Gardens, with food buffet set up indoors. Couples can choose to have their cake cutting indoors or out on the deck (photo below). Food is set out in the indoor air conditioned area, and guest tables and seating are on the adjoining lower deck area. Buff vinyl chairs are used for reception seating on the lower deck area, and provide a nice casual look in the rustic setting. If you prefer a slightly more formal look, then for a small additional fee we will substitute the buff chairs for white wedding chairs. packages. The tent will be located in the upper gardens, overlooking our lovely mixed border and heather garden, and close to all facilities. The ceremony would still take place in the nearby Wine & Roses Garden. OFF SITE RECEPTIONS: For larger weddings, our event planner can arrange a reception in a suitable indoor facility located within an easy driving distance to the Gardens. All our offsite receptions include the services of a D.J., who also acts as a "Master of Ceremonies". Our coordinator will go over the sequence of events you want to include at your reception such as cake cutting, toast, first dance etc. The "English Elegance" package combines an outdoor ceremony in our English style gardens with the comfort and elegance of a fully catered reception in the award winning Springhill Suites by Marriott, located in Pigeon Forge - this package is priced for up to 50 people (see photos below). Our " Lace & Roses" Package includes a reception for up to 75 people (can be extended to 100) in either the Auditorium room at the Sevierville Civic Center or the beautiful facility at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Pigeon Forge. Our "Champagne & Roses" package was designed to bridge the gap between our maximum sized lower deck receptions at the Gardens and the larger offsite receptions with a choice of reception venue between the Marriott and the Council Hall room at the Civic Center . For larger weddings where the budget doesn't stretch to a coordinated and catered reception, you can choose the Gardens for a ceremony only, and our event planner will advise on how to reserve a room at the Sevierville Civic Center, where you do have the option of self-catering your own reception. |

LADIES: This may seem trivial, but planning footwear for a Garden Wedding can make a great deal of difference as to how comfortable you will feel on the day. This applies not only to brides and bridesmaids, but to guests as well. Although stiletto heeled sandals and shoes are very fashionable at present, they may not be the most appropriate footwear for grassy or gravelled surfaces. A well chosen wedge heel, low heel or a pretty flat sandal, often proves that you don't have to sacrifice elegance to be more comfortable. |

| Whether utilized in focus, or intentionally softened and blurred, the bloom and foliage of the Gardens creates the framework and backdrops for stunning wedding photography, and no one captures it better than Rosewood Gardens' own professional photographer, Kerry Conard. Kerry joined us this year, and has done an outstanding job. She has a real feel for what works well in the Garden. If obtained anywhere else in Tennessee it will be the same cost as a Tennessee Resident ($98.50). You may obtain a marriage license in any county in the State of Tennessee. A license is only valid if obtained within a 30 day period prior to your wedding date. Our minister will check the date, and if he finds that it was issued more than 30 days away from the wedding date, then it will be invalid and he will not be able to perform your ceremony. Again because of the lesser fee charged to out of state residents, it is a definite advantage to obtain your license in Sevier County. |

Music adds so much to the romantic atmosphere of any outdoor wedding. Many different musicians and vocalists have performed at the gardens, and your choice for live music can be included in a wedding package. Typically a musician is hired to play for an hour at the ceremony, although arrangements can be made to extend that throughout the reception. Recorded music can also be part of your wedding package, which can be traditional or your own choice. If you are just renting our venue you may bring your own boom box, or make other arrangements that suit you . Electricity is available at the gardens, and should it be required for your music - all that we ask is for you to request this ahead of time, we will then have it laid on for you. For receptions, we can also arrange for a DJ. |

Choice of ceremony time is important. Mornings or evenings are definitely preferable over afternoons. During the months we are open, typically the afternoons are too hot to be comfortable and too bright for the best photographs. For all our wedding packages, we will provide an ordained minister to perform the wedding ceremony, or you may bring along your own minister if you wish. For venue rental only arrangements, you will need to provide your own minister. In addition to the traditional vow and ring exchange ceremony, you may elect to add on a Unity Sand Ceremony. This tends to be more popular for outdoor weddings than the Unity Candle (windy conditions can easily blow the candle out). Lovebird (dove) release can be another charming option, and provides a wonderful photo opportunity. Real atmosphere can be created at an outdoor wedding with the addition of music. If your budget permits consider having live music, such as a violinist or guitarist. Other options for live music are a string trio or possibly a harp or bagpipes, all add so much atmosphere to any wedding in the Gardens. Petals may be scattered down the aisleway. Decor can be added to chairs. Guests may want to blow bubbles for the recessional. A guest book & pen can be set up in the Garden, or a table for some wedding favors. |

seldom understand the need to pose for photos at a wedding! Therefore it is often left to the skill and artistry of the photographer to capture spontaneous moments. Photo right: Black & White photos are now back in vogue, also the antique look of the sepia photos. Our photographer always includes a selection of both black and white, and sepia images in her online gallery for each of our weddings. As attractive as color is in the garden, at times both the subject and the backdrop can have more of an artistic appeal when shown in black & white, or sepia. | When planning a garden wedding, a small detail like ladies footwear, can be very important for comfort (see section below). At this beautiful wedding the bridal party decided to go barefoot - now that's real comfort! Photography - Kerry Conard |

| Photos above at the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Pigeon Forge. Suitable for receptions for up to 50 people. See our "English Elegance" and "Champagne & Roses" Packages. Please note that we can arrange for the lighting in this room to be dimmed to achieve a softer and more romantic look especially when it is time for the dancing. Although the chairs at the Marriott are smart looking and substantial, if preferred we can add white chair seat covers @ $3 per chair. For ivory or other color seat covers, the fee is $5 per chair. All our offsite packages now include table runners in your choice of available wedding color, which looks very attractive set against the white linen tablecloths, (see Civic Center reception photo below), |
