This beautiful area of East Tennessee is considered to be one of the most desirable wedding destinations in the whole of the U. S., and in response to visitors' comments, Rosewood Gardens is now offering you the opportunity to hold your wedding in the romantic and intimate setting of an "English Garden. I think every "bride to be" dreams of the idea of having an outdoor wedding. Nature and its surroundings, the pure fresh air, the room and the freedom it inspires, fills you with serene and romantic notions of how wonderful your wedding day could be. At Rosewood we strive to make that dream a reality.

Our "Wine & Roses Garden" is
particularly suitable for the actual
wedding ceremony. Full of roses,
foxgloves and many other flowers, in
all the beautiful wine shades, from
white to deepest burgundy, it evokes
the very idea of romance. The large
white wedding arbor, clad in clematis,
roses and other flowering vines, is a
perfect place for your minister to hold
the ceremony
This garden can accommodate seating
for up to 100 guests.

ROSEWOOD GARDENS IS TOTALLY UNIQUE IN THIS AREA!
Outdoor weddings seem to be very
popular now, as are destination weddings.
Many wedding facilities in the Smokies
offer garden settings, but nowhere else,
other than here at Rosewood, will you find
the lushness and exuberance that is truly
evocative of an English Garden. Most of
our garden beds and borders are informal
in style, one or two lend themselves to a
little formality, while others have the "mix
and mingle" associated with true English
style cottage gardens. Click on our
"BLOOM" section to see photos and text
of seasonal highlights in the garden.
We feel that a DVD is certainly something to consider if you are having a
wedding at Rosewood. It will capture the whole experience - both visually and
audibly - and will serve as a lasting memory to treasure and relive in years to
come. Video photographer, Louann D'Amico, is one of the most experienced
and reasonably priced, video photographers in the area. She also has a special
affinity for the garden, having spent many hours filming at Rosewood,
capturing all the sights and sounds. Your coordinator can make arrangements
with Louann, or you can contact us directly. She is a busy lady, working for
many of the local wedding services, so making an early booking with her is
recommended.
Rosewood Gardens is a proud member of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.
We are classed as a "Tennessee Tourist Attraction", and are listed in the official Tennessee Tourist Guide and on their website.
We have been featured on two occasions in the "Home & Garden Section" of the Knoxville Sentinel, and other local publications. We have also appeared in the prestigious "English Garden" Magazine, which has worldwide circulation, and we were selected as a garden for the "Year of the English Garden", by the Royal Oak Society (the American branch of the English National Trust). In Spring 2008, we will be featured in the Group Tour Magazine, which is circulated in the Southeast.

Photographs will be enhanced by the beauty of all the varied themed
gardens, and our 17 acre setting overlooking the mountains is so
tranquil that the nearby busy tourist areas often seem a world away.
The natural charm of children often results in many "Kodak moments" as the
following three photographs will demonstrate.
Betsy Dixon, a photographer from California took advantage of the many
different areas of Rosewood, when she took these delightful photographs at
the wedding of her mother, Sheryl, to Ian in early August 2007. We thank her
for the use of them.
The gardens at Rosewood will always provide many beautiful settings for your official
photographer, and friends and relatives alike, to capture special moments at your wedding.
